Nappe - French for tablecloth - is a little ode the beauty of fabric caught mid-fall.
It reminds me of the freshly starched tablecloths my grandmother would carefully drape over her wooden dining table. The crisp folds, the soft curves, the way the fabric would settle into its own imperfect shape. There's something almost ghost-like about these forms, too. Little ceramic apparitions, caught between fabric and form.
